Software & Cloud, one of our business areas within Knightec Group, helps clients develop future-proof and large-scale computer and software systems across the IT landscape – from electronic devices and networks to data-driven business applications supported by AI and cloud services.
We are now looking for an experienced project manager or technical project manager with a background in electrical engineering and automation or software who wants to lead development and production projects together with our clients.
ResponsibilitiesYour role will be to plan, coordinate, and drive projects together with and at our clients. The role also includes budget responsibility and risk management – but above all, it is about making a difference through technology and collaboration.
Your main responsibilities:
Plan, lead, and follow up on projects within electrical engineering, automation, and software
Identify and manage risks, as well as report project status to the steering group
Create and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Be responsible for project budget, timelines, and ensuring deliveries meet set goals
You are a self-driven and communicative leader who truly enjoys working with people. You thrive in a dynamic environment where technology and business benefits go hand in hand. You prefer to see solutions instead of obstacles and are driven by the desire to constantly improve. To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Experience in technology, industry, or software
Several years of experience in project or technical project management within electrical engineering, automation, or software.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Ability to understand and analyze technical processes
It is a plus if you have:
Certification in agile project management such as Scrum, Lean, etc.
Experience with supplier contacts and risk management

Practical informationThis is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, located at our office in central Västerås, Kopparbergsvägen 11A. Travel may occur to our clients. The start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
